Step 1: Listening comprehension
Mục tiêu: Hiểu rõ ý nghĩa bài nghe.
Bấm nghe qua một lần, sau đó nhấp đúp vào bất kỳ từ nào để biết cách phát âm và ý nghĩa. Sau khi đã hiểu toàn bộ bài nghe, bạn bấm nghe thêm một lần nữa.

1. Did the spaceship fly past the planet? If yes, where and how many times?
2. Was it a new planet?
3. Was the planet red? If no, what color?
4. What color were the clouds?
5. Were there a lot of clouds or were there only a few?
6. Could they see the surface? Why/why not?
7. Did the spaceship descend slowly or quickly?
8. Were there three astronauts? If no, how many?
9. Did they put on anything? If yes, what?
10. Did they climb down? If yes, down what, and how?
11. What did they step onto?

Step 2: Pronunciation practice
Mục tiêu: Luyện phát âm đúng theo giọng bản ngữ
Bây giờ bạn hình dung ra ngữ cảnh của bài nghe như đang diễn ra trước mắt và bạn chính là từng nhân vật trong đó.
Luyện shadowing (nói đuổi): Bấm nghe từng câu, tạm dừng và nói theo ngay sau đó sao cho phát âm đúng nhất có thể.
Luyện role-play (nhập vai): Khi đã tự tin, bạn ngừng shadowing để chuyển sang tự vào vai của nhân vật trong hội thoại. Các câu nói ra cần đúng phát âm và xuất phát từ cảm xúc của chính bạn. Thâu âm để nghe lại và tự chỉnh sửa. Lưu lại phần thâu âm bạn hài lòng nhất (để gửi bài cho giáo viên chỉnh sửa, nếu bạn đã đăng ký khoá học).
Step 3: Hearing reflex practice
Mục tiêu: Luyện phản xạ nghe
Phản xạ nghe là năng lực quan trọng nhất bạn cần đạt được trong học giao tiếp tiếng Anh. Luyện phản xạ nghe là tập nghe cho đến khi thấm nhuần, đến mức có thể nghe hiểu liền mà không phải do ghi nhớ nội dung bài nghe – nôm na là như nghe hiểu tiếng Việt vậy.
Bạn quay lại bài nghe ở bước 1, bấm ẩn lời thoại (và ẩn song ngữ) để nghe mà không nhìn lời thoại hay song ngữ. Khi nghe nếu xuất hiện chữ trong đầu, hay dịch ra tiếng Việt mới hiểu thì chưa phải là phản xạ nghe. Bạn cần tiếp tục nghe cho đến khi không thấy xuất hiện chữ hay dịch ra nữa mà nghe hiểu liền.
Lưu ý: Với mỗi bài học bạn cần lập lại bước này nhiều lần vào nhiều ngày khác nhau mới có thể nghe thấm nhuần và hình thành phản xạ nghe.
Còn bây giờ bạn thực hiện một số lần vừa phải và chuyển sang bước tiếp theo: Luyện nói.
Step 4: Speaking practice
Mục tiêu: Luyện nói.
Bạn thâu âm và tự chỉnh sửa trước, sau đó lưu lại bài thâu mà bạn hài lòng nhất để gửi cho giáo viên chỉnh sửa.
Exercise 1. Retell the story above with cues.
(a) spaceship/planet/times. planets/blue and green. they/see/surface/too many white clouds. spaceship/slowly/clouds/middle/forest. astronauts/space suits/door/ladder/onto the planet. woman/control unit/arm.

Exercise 2. Summarize the story.
Exercise 3. Continue the story. Below are some hints to start:

Step 5: Writing practice
Mục tiêu: Luyện viết chính tả của từ và luyện viết thành câu – đoạn – bài.
Nếu đã đăng ký, bạn viết và gửi bài ở phần Writing, mục Dành cho học viên đã đăng ký cuối bài học.
Exercise 1. Summarize the story above, using your own words.
Exercise 2. Write the story from exercise 4 of the speaking step.
Step 6: Submitting practices to teacher
Mục tiêu: Giáo viên hướng dẫn chỉnh sửa phát âm, phần luyện nói và bài viết của bạn.
Bạn bấm Choose File để tải lên phần thâu luyện phát âm (bước 2) và nói (bước 4). Còn bài tập viết (bước 5) thì gõ vào ô “Gõ bài viết vào đây.” Sau đó bấm “SEND TO TEACHER” để gửi bài cho giáo viên chỉnh sửa.
Hoặc bạn cũng có thể gửi bài thực hành qua Zalo của SEAD (nút màu xanh dương góc dưới phải màn hình).
